A Church of the LORD JESUS CHRIST in Ireland

The ‘Baptist Church’ in Ballaghaderreen is a church of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and exists for His glory.  Its members are made up of people who, by the power and death of Christ, have been forgiven and set free from being slaves to sin, the world and the devil. By His grace, we are now made the children of the Living GOD.  As a church of the LORD JESUS CHRIST in this region, we count it both our privilege as well as our duty to make known our wonderful Saviour and His life-saving truth to all around us.  The world has plenty and enough of lies, hypocrisies, and an abundance of so-called ‘half-truths’ that we do not desire for a moment to contribute more of the same.  On the other hand, truth in its entirety is a very scarce commodity on planet earth, and much less in our day and place.  The Lord Jesus plainly declared GOD’s Word to be the truth (John 17:17), and as such it is a very great mercy of GOD that we have the precious and Holy Bible among us.  GOD has sent His Holy and only begotten Son into the world to bear the punishment and die for the sins of all His people. He also raises up testimonies to His truth in every generation to point the guilty and condemned human race to true safety and our only hope of real refuge, even the LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST.  With the help of GOD, we seek to do just this– to bear witness to GOD’s Truth and to urge everyone to flee to the only true Saviour without any delay – for the Day of Almighty GOD is coming soon and we shall all appear before His Judgment Seat.  Yes, the Day of GOD and eternity is coming soon and every one of us shall give account for himself to GOD.
